Some recent developments in the Hamden household worth blogging about...We've finally decided upon a name for Baby Crazy....his name shall be Ryder Hayel [YES, as in the moving trucks...and the middle name is pronounced "Hale"]. Ryder Hayel Hamden....he shall bear the initials of his dad!Two weeks ago, Mimi Arrington ordered Ryder his first piece of furniture for his nursery: the Madison changing table system from Pottery Barn! Mom and Dad are SUPER stoked about it, and anxiously awaiting its arrival. They've worked tirelessly to get the nursery room cleared out so the tyke can MOOOOVE in! We're expecting the changing table system to arrive this week.
Tonight the Hamdens ate dinner with the [grand]parents[to-be] and in-laws, then capped off their evening assembling Ryder's playpen! He got the Graco Pack 'n Play in the Jungle Adventure theme, and it was surprisingly easy to put together. The mobile even plays "Rock-a-bye Baby" upon cranking. Ryder will most likely spend his first few months in this apparatus, aptly situated at the foot of Mom & Dad's bed. [Let the record reflect that Dad has already threatened the cat with her life if he catches her in the playpen...]. Right now, Ryder's pet monkey is testing out the floating bassinett...The kid's got a closet chock full of diapers and CLOTHES. He already has his first pet BEVO, and to Mom's protest, his first SHSU Phi Delt tee shirt. Ryder got to enjoy his first UT football game yesterday from the best seat in the house...MYYY WOOOMB! This shall be the first of many, many more games to come. I will see TO it!

My momma bought Jason and I the Madison collection, too!!! I absolutely love it, and all the extra storage space - AMAZING!!
